Become a Wholistic Infant Sleep Educator (WISE)™
A Wholistic Infant Sleep Educator (WISE) ™ looks at infant sleep in a wholistic perspective – taking in to consideration the infants mind, body and spirit. A parent can get their baby to sleep using many different methods, however when the baby is not in tune and in balance with it’s caregivers and it’s environment, then getting to sleep will be a struggle. As a WISE Educator ™, you will be trained to guide new parents in connecting with their infant (ages 0-6 months) by tuning into the infants mind, body and spirit. By having a deeper connection with the infant, the parents will then be able to create an ideal and successful sleep routine. When the parents and the infant are working as a “Whole”, then everyone is supported and sleep can be accomplished.
4 Week Introductory Course*
Week 1: The role of a Wholistic Infant Sleep consultant and it’s importance in today’s society.
Week 2: A discussion of the mind-body connection between the infant and the parent.
Week 3: Exploring mental wellness and emotional health of the relationship of the infant and the parent.
Week 4: A basic exploration of energy and how it effects an infants sleep.
Pre-requisite: a sleep consultant course or minimum of 3 years infant sleep experience in a professional setting.
* To become an Educator, students must complete the 8 week WISE Educators course, start date May 2012.

Just as babyproofing is designed to prevent children from injuring themselves or doing damage around the home, a certified greenproofer™ is a maternity eco-consultant that meets with expecting or new families to provide education, support, and resources in order to protect their clients and their children from unsafe exposure to potentially toxic substances in their home, on their body, and in their environment.
Through the IMI Greenproofer certification program, you will gain comprehensive knowledge and practical experience to prepare new and expecting parents for toxic free living as well as have the opportunity to work as eco-consultants and earn a solid income. Your training includes the 4 week Green Birth Educator ™ program where you will have the ability to teach our signature Green Birth Class ™ series to expecting and new parents..
We have developed the maternity industry’s first and only greenproofing certification ™ program.
The IMI online interactive live course includes interaction with your Green instructor: Mary Oscategui, Guest Speakers, and with your fellow students.
The IMI Greenproofing course is a highly specialized training program designed to supplement or jumpstart your career to educate and prepare pre-conceiving, expecting, and new families on how they can prevent exposure from toxic substances that may pose a potential threat to the health of mother and baby.
Greenproofing covers the following topics:
preconception
pregnancy and birth
labor
postpartum and newborn care
skin and body care
food and nutrition
product awareness
nursery design and safety
playroom safety and childcare
Upon completing the 10 week training program, Greenproofers will have the ability to prepare their clients with the following services:
Home Safety Analysis, Non-toxic Feeding, Eco-friendly Diapering, Safe Skincare, Greening the Labor Room, Green Baby Living and Nursery, Green Product Selection, Green Child Care Search, Holistic Practitioner Resources , New Parent, Green Education Classes, Healthy Living Classes, GreenBirth ™ Educator Classes and much more.
