Roller Disco Daze is bringing a colorful dose of nostalgia to San Rafael this summer. From July 17 through August 16, 2026, Lagoon Island at the Marin County Fairgrounds will become an outdoor roller-skating destination with music, themed weekends, lawn games, local art installations and activities for all ages. It is one of the most talked-about family-friendly summer events in Marin County—and a fun new way to enjoy the Marin lifestyle.
Roller Disco Daze is a free community roller-skating experience held outdoors on Lagoon Island at the Marin County Fairgrounds. Skaters of all ages and ability levels are welcome to roll beneath a disco ball, enjoy the waterfront setting and take part in a month of retro-inspired entertainment.
Admission is free, and skate rentals are available on-site for $5. Visitors may also bring their own traditional roller skates.
The event takes place at Marin Center in San Rafael from July 17 through August 16, 2026.

Wednesday and Thursday: 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Friday through Sunday: 12:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. Visitors should review the official event information and waiver requirements before attending.
